Morning of February 1, informed sources, the Ministry approved the second phase of TD-LTE test is expected to be completed in June this year, the relevant test.
Ministry of Industry approved in early 2011 in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, six cities the size of TD-LTE Phase I test. The first phase focused on systems based on 3GPP R8 standard single-mode devices and TD-LTE terminal to carry out the test, from April 2011 to September, the basic completion of the first pilot phase, the construction of more than 850 base stations.
It is said that the Ministry has approved the pilot-scale TD-LTE end of the first stage, second stage pilot. The second phase focused on systems based on 3GPP R9 standard equipment and includes TD-SCDMA, including multi-mode terminal to carry out tests, stress-tested multi-mode terminals, multi-network collaborative work results.
After the news, the second phase of testing will add four cities, may be in Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Wuhan, so since the second phase of testing is expected to increase to 10 cities.
