VLC released 2 new Mac Blu-ray-VideoLAN,VLC,2.0,Mac OS x, Blu-ray

VideoLAN announced today a famous open source VLC media player new version 2, and has released the first RC candidate. VLC 2 biggest change is finally starting to support Blu-ray player under Apple Mac OS x operating system. Because Apple don\'t like Blu-ray, and therefore does not provide official support, software support is also negligible, especially not the most convenient one-click play, master himself to find break compilation. VideoLAN assured that VLC 2.0 Mac OS x version is experimental support for Blu-ray, but it\'s unclear how specific implementation, the effect remains to be seen.

Mac OS x version also designed a completely new user interface, there is another significant improvement is support for Lua extension, there are at least dozens of models for users to choose, among the most notable is the title search and movie information. Windows version has no small progress, in particular can play multiple video files in the RAR package, you don\'t have to extract them one by one, but on the surface not much changes, on Mac OS x it earlier, is more low-level optimizations.
Also note that VLC 2 requires Windows XP SP2 or later system, no longer supports Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP1, Windows Server 2003 RTM.
VideoLAN is also seeking to VLC 2 ported to iOS systems, support for iPhone, iPad, VLC application but about a year ago had been out of the App Store, I do not know how. Windows, Mac OS x, Linux systems version of VLC 2.0 RC1 can be downloaded here.
